I want to introduce you this mighty project I have the honor to work on. The Giger DVD contains about two hours of unique shots mapping the live of this surrealistic artist from Switzerland. Concerning the fact that he is engaged in painting, sculpture and film-making, the DVD medium was ideal for depiction of his creative skills.

The idea to create a DVD about H.R.Giger originated a couple of years ago and it aim to produce a fine art piece, which can introduce Giger and his work in its best. There are many special features like interview with his friends and colleagues and also Gigers first short film debut “High and Heimkiller”.

The main feature of this project is certainly the “Art in motion” section. It’s about digitally modified and animated picture compositions from all the important periods of Geiger’s lifetime work, accompanied with psychedelic music.

We can’t afford to re-make the Gigers paintings or suppose whats outside the frame. So we try to stimulate the inside theme and somehow brign it to live. We choose the technique of camera projected pictures on 3d surface witch allow us to make some animation in this pictures.
