VW Sheep – On this Commercial for Volkswagen I did all the hair effects on the sheep. It was a first time when I tried to do the hair in XSI and render it in Mental Ray. The commercial was very challenging mainly in therms of animation and also the deadline was very tight. You can find a link to making of down below.

Season of the Witch - This was one the best movies I have ever worked on. I had the possibility to create two CG characters from beginning to the very end. As for me that’s exactly the kind of stuff I love to do. Start with a pencil and end with a fully animated CG character.

Pandorum - The Pandorum project was my first Sci-fi movie I have worked on. I was really looking forward to work on the different style and dark atmosphere that this movie can offer. Although my contribution was only small, and at the most part I was just helping other guys with theyr shots, I did enjoy the work the this movie.

The Lost Future - The part of my work, on the Lost Future movie, was only a small contribution for the whole movie. There were approximately thirty shots and the main goal was to create a believable prehistoric sloth. This was a great experience for me mainl yin terms of freedom in the designs where I have to catch the likeness of this huge animal.

2012 - I have the great honor to work on Roland Emmerich feature movie 2012. It was great challenge because I had to match the quality of the blockbuster type of movie, and compare my work with the other huge postproductions who worked on this movie. I have done only several shots in this case and sadly some of them were cut out, but I enjoyed the work on this project.

Nutcracker in 3D - The movie “Nutcracker in 3D” was the first feature film in my carrier that I have been working on. With a group of tremendously talented people by my side, we had create hundreds of shots, some of them were fully CG. Scissors beat paper – In this picture Sir Winston Churchill is doing the “peace fingers”. The hidden joke in this picture is that when you imagine the Wold war II as rock-paper-scissors game, Churchills team was doing the scissors and Hitlers team was doing the paper, and in the end Scissors beat paper (I just hope it is understandable). Zombie flesh eaters – This poster has arisen as an side effect during the work on my Goon project. I just took the original render of this zombie an play with it in Photoshop. This whole thing is inspired by old B-movie posters, which I tend to be keen on : )

Winston Churchill - This is a caricature of Sir. Winston Churchill displaying him as a bust just standing on his place, minding his own business, while he is cruelly attacked by a pigeon.

Frankenstein monster – I start to do this picture just for fun and relax during the work on “It likes candy” and it should be only a Z-brush head. But after it was finished I realize it have some potential and make a portrait out of it. The lights, composition an whole look is inspired by the old posters with Boris Karloff.

It likes candy - This is the first picture form project “About toys”. I cal it “It likes candy” and the idea turns around traditional Russian toy Matryoshka witch is made as a set of wooden dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside another. I want to made a little scary character, witch actually lives inside this toy with unstoppable taste for candy and anything witch is sweet. So its not so scary after all…

Mr.Nice - This is a weekend picture (about 12 hours of clear work). The model was taken from my Marv project and then resculpt in Zbrush. What is new here is the coat… All the colors and textures are done in Photoshop, so it something like 2.5D…What I like on this picture is the fact that the guy standing upon the dying one is actually a good guy.

Marv - Its a portrait of Marv from Sin City, certainly my favorite character from that series. I want to dedicate this one to Frank Miller and his outstanding artworks. The very base model was made in 3dsmax and then sculpt in Zbrush and export back to max. Zbrush was also used to generate displace map. The rest were done in Photoshop. Finally I render it with Mental Ray.

Replicant - Portrait of a Replicant. To make this portrait I used 3DsMax-8 and for the render Brazil r/s. There is also some Z-brush details for the texture. Finally I used Photoshop to done some post-production.
